COMPANY BACKGROUND
Resorts World Sdn Bhd, a private company limited by shares, was incorporated on 7 May 1980 under the Companies Act 1965. Upon conversion into a public company in 1989, its name was changed to Resorts World Bhd (1989 – 2009), and subsequently Genting Malaysia Berhad (“Genting Malaysia”), Registration No. 198001004236 (58019-U).
In 1989, Genting Berhad and Genting Malaysia underwent a restructuring exercise, which resulted in Genting Malaysia acquiring from Genting Berhad its entire gaming, hotel and resort-related operations, inclusive of goodwill and other relevant assets. Genting Malaysia’s shares have been traded on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia since its listing on 22 December 1989.

Resorts World Genting
With about 10,500 rooms across seven distinct hotels, Resorts World Genting ("RWG") is Malaysia's premier integrated resort destination. The resort features wide-ranging leisure and entertainment facilities, including gaming, theme park and amusement attractions, dining and retail outlets, as well as international shows and business convention facilities.

Nestled amidst the mid-hills, Resorts World Awana complements this extensive premium experience with its natural greenery, mountainous golf course, trekking trails, and proximity to key attractions.
Coastal Properties
Genting Malaysia also owns and operates two beautiful seaside properties: Resorts World Kijal in Terengganu and Resorts World Langkawi on Langkawi Island.

Crockfords Cairo, an exclusive casino within The Nile Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Cairo, marks the Group's first venture into the Middle East region.
United States
Operating Resorts World New York City, RW Catskills, and RW Hudson Valley. Also owns a prime 30-acre waterfront site in downtown Miami, Florida, including the Hilton Miami Downtown.
The Bahamas
Resorts World Bimini, a 750-acre beachfront resort on North Bimini Island featuring casino, hotel, dining, and the largest yacht and marina complex on the island.
